Is Our Population Changing Too Fast?

Intro
As you know every year Canada's population is growing every second. As you know this can change a lot of things like the enviorment, poverty and social. Along with that eventually we will have such a great population there is going to be no space.
Poverty:
Reason 1
As you know when there are too many people their all going to want jobs. So when everyone is raging for jobs and not all are going to get jobs so they are going to be in debt and they won't have enough money to support their kids. In Canada 13.3% of children are in poverty. This effects almost three million canadians who are in poverty.
Patterns and Trends
Reason 2
Well when it comes to population there has to be a reason why so many people are immgrating at the same time. Like when there were wars happening between countries or their food supply and water supply was toxacited. Then around when Trump was elected many people moved here too.
The Government
I believe that they should work to gain more land because as you grasp Canada has the following largest surface area and yet we still need more space. Another one can maybe stop accepting people to immigrate to Canada after it reaches a certain number of people and if like one person leaves one can come in so there won’t be a problem of population.
