The conflict, that will be focused on during this presentation, is that there are to many muck fires in Tangerine County, Florida.
Muck fires are ongoing, underground, fires, ignited through the strike of lightning.
Yes, muck fires only burn underground, but they leave revolting smells and residue and ridiculous amounts of smoke.
Sadly, no, muck fires cannot be avoided. Because the actual fires themselves occur underground, out of sight from the naked eye. They are also activated by lightning, which cannot be avoided, because it's a natural disaster.
Can it be avoided?
All we can do about it, at the moment, to prevent, is sadly nothing... However, it is possible to put them out using very large portions of water. When we say large, we mean*large*. One or two inches of rain, would barely cut it.
Two solutions that would work best:
.
1. Install lightning rods in the areas of the muck fires to prevent them from sparking/igniting and causing the issue.
2. Acquire large quantities of water, from the ocean-which would also help resolve the ever rising water levels due to melting glaciers-and keep the ground moist at most times.
