Mahatma Gandhi

Mahatma Gandhi was born on Saturday, 2 October 1869 at Porbandar, Gujarat, India. He is an Indian Lawyer.

Birth/Death

Mahatma Gandhi Dies(was Assassinated) on Friday 30 January 1948. His cause of death was gunshot. He died at age 78. He died at New Delhi, Delhi, India.

Mahatma Gandhi is one of the most famous leaders and champions for justice in the world. His principles and firm belief in non-violence have been followed by many other important civil rights leaders including Martin Luther King, Jr. and Nelson Mandela. His renown is such that he is mostly just referred to by the single name "Gandhi".
