Example: She stompped across the street in a furious manner. You could she the contempt in her eyes. Her voice was furious as she banged on the door.
To create connection with the reader and cause him/her to laugh, but also to lighten the mood in a tense or serious situation
Example: She was throwing a tantrum like a little kid, whinning and crying.
Begin a piece of writing with a key word or phrase and bring the reader back at the end to the key word or phrase
Example: She was furious. Banging on the door yelling at the top of her lungs but was being ignored. She was furious.
