The atomic theory of atoms summed up is basically the idea that all matter is made up of small particles that are invisible to the naked human eye. These particles are called atoms.
John Dalton was the first to think that all matter is made up of tiny particles which are now known as atoms. He developed the theory that matter is composed of atoms varying in weight.
I drew this example of the differences between three types of matter-- solids, liquids, and gases. The space between atoms in each of these states tells us what type of matter we are observing.
