So, how does the Amish community remedy to these problems that are proper to the 21st century ?
They are moving westwards,
in a progressed society ,
because they find no work in Pennsylvania.
Now, they are more likely to use
modern technology
in their jobs.
Amish people are
questioning their lifestyle ;
debates about what should be
allowed and what should be banned
Some are pro-modernity and some are against it.
Ex.: Mennonites (branch of Amish) are using Internet and iPads to share the world their religion and culture
Amish people are facing 21st century challenges by
opening up to the world, by moving their standards,
because the new generation find interest in
technology, to many perspectives :
- economical - practical
- social - religious
