Desomorphine

What is desomorphine?

Desomorphine is a drug that is otherwise known as "Krokodil" or "Crocodile". This drug is a depressant that over time, if abused, makes your skin turn scalyand green. That's why the slang name is related to crocodiles, your skin looks like a crocodile's skin.

In many cases, addiction to desomorphine results in having to amputate the part of your body that is affected. Amputation is the cutting off of a limb. Amputation costs range from $20,000 to $60,000 including fees, medical supplies, and anesthesia. If you can't pay for the amputation, you'll most likely end up dying since the effects of this drug are life threatening. Song

St. Vincent

"Krokodil" (nickname for desomorphine)

Lyrics:

"I need to bite

Sweet krokodil, dil, dil, dil"

We think this song is about our drug because the song says "and when it starts to sting don't worry, gotta be clean" which probably references back to the condition your skin turns into when on desomorphine.
