Introduction
In Lebanon there are tens of thousands homeless and stray cats and dogs. In this Prezi I will be shedding light on this issue and in the end provide a solution that could help save multiple of the stray and homeless cats and dogs in Lebanon and the world.

What is the Trouble of Stray Cats & Dogs?
A lot of people don't see a problem with there being homeless cats and dogs. Little do those people know that animals have a right to life just like humans do. The problem with them being on the streets is that their lives are constantly being lost due to cars running them over or heartless people beating them or poisoning them. If these poor cats and dogs could find homes, this issue could be solved.
Organizations in Lebanon
There are multiple organizations and shelters that are trying to help the homeless cats and dogs in Lebanon.
These include: Animals Lebanon, BETA, and Pawshake. These organizations along with others are trying their very best to help the cats and dogs, but animal shelters only have so much space an there is such a large number of homeless cats and dogs and they can't do it alone.
How can you Help?
How can an every day person help such a big cause? Well even the small things can make a big impact to help stray cats and dogs. You could donate a dollar to an animal shelter or organization to help them help the homeless cats and dogs. Another way you could help is by caring for a cat or dog that is on the street of your neighbor hood without needing to take it into your home.

If you have a homeless cat or dog living in your neighborhood, you could help by providing it with it's basic needs. You could give it fresh water every day, and if you have leftover meat or chicken or fish, you could offer it to the cat or dog.
Adopt, don't Shop!
The best way to solve the problem of homeless and stray cats and dogs is to Adopt and not Shop.
What does this mean? It means that if you're looking to bring a cat or a dog into your home, you adopt it from a shelter rather than buying it from a pet store.
Why should people Adopt rather than Shop?
Why?
Adopting a cat or dog from an animal shelter means you are saving it's life. How? Usually cats and dogs that are placed in animal shelters have been saved from a bad situation.

This is Nejmeh, an adopted cat from Pawshake Lebanon. She was a friendly cat that was found by Mahmoud Mawass, the founder of Pawshake, on the streets of Tripoli. A family fell in love with her, and adopted her immediately. Nejmeh ended up having tape worms, but her family wouldn't give up on her, they spent months giving her medicines and love. After five months Nejmeh was healthy again. She is now happy and safe.
