The biggest volcano is Mauna Loa. This giant volcano stands at a whopping 2,000 miles long. This massive volcano is located in South Kona, Japan and is still there.

Lava is melted and heated up rock. Lava is extreamly hot and will burn you in less than 2 seconds. This molten rock flows up the moutain and flows out into the air.
