mainstreaming committee is copied since the start of the workflow to ensure everything is in place and correct when workflow reaches OPR validation point.
At PDR stage, the mainstreaming boxes in the PIF expand to include the eligibility criteria projects should meet to be qualified as gender, youth and/or nutrition sensitive when applicable.
Only the ECG PDT member has the authority to tick on the eligibility criteria for the social inclusion themes: gender, youth and nutrition.
OPR will tick on the 3 main boxes to validate:
IFAD uses the MDB methodology to estimate climate finance in its investments.
OPR will review the calculations provided by the regional climate finance tracking focal point.
For it to appear in the PIF, IFAD Adaptation and/or Mitigation finance must be entered in the Financials tab / Climate finance sub-tab.
A new approach was needed as riskier environments require a more robust risk management. Also stakeholders are demanding greater rigor, transparency and accountability in the way organizations manage risks.
The revamped version of the Integrated Risk Framework (IRF) - the IPRM - was launched in Accra (Ghana) on 28 Jan for WCA and on 4 Feb for APR.
All the other divisions will start using it at the end of Q2, after this pilot phase.
