The creation of Buddhism was dated around 600 - 400 BCE. It was founded by Siddartha Gauthama Buddha, an enlightened man, who did not follow any gods. Due to this, Buddhism became more of a moral code instead of a religion.

The Great wall of China was a important part of Chinas defensive system. It was finished in 200 BCE and now stands as a wonder of the world. The large wall extends from the Yellow sea to the middle of China.

The Zhou Dynasty was a city that coexisted with the Shang until 1046 BCE. They used the Mandate of Heaven to overthrow the Shang. The Zhou were also known for their advanced art and architecture.

Legalism is a religion based on concequences for ones actions. It was active throughout the Qin Dynasty. It included many laws that had their respective punshiments if broken

The Han dynasty was the second dynasty of Imperial China. It succeded the Qin dynasty and was seen as a better version. It included more care and laws for its citizens.

Confusianism is a ancient chinese belief system that was created around 500 BCE. It is based on ethically and morally correct mindset. It is the worship of ancestors and a happy life.

The Shang Dynasty was the first recorded dynasty in China. The dynasty was praised for its advanced calendar and math. The Shang dynasty eventually collapsed because of civil wars

The Silk Road was an ancient trade route that connected Rome and China. Christianity and Buddhism both came to China from the Silk road and became major religions. It eventually became unsafe and unused until the Mongol empire revived it 13th to 14th century.

The Mandate of Heaven was a reason why a ruler can rule. It was used as a way to overthrow kings with a good reason. It was given to people trying to become kings and was seen as an omen.

221 - 210 BCE

The Qin Dynasty was the first unified Chinese dynasty, and was the start of Imperial China. It was founded by Qin Shi Huang and it was the origin of the Terracotta Soldiers. Qin was also the reason China got its name.
