MANANGUETE
- (Coconut wine tapper) reenacts the stages of making tuba (coconut wine).
the dance starts with movements that mimic the hsarpening of the sanggot (scythe) and the proceeda to the cleaning of the kawit ( bamboo container), climbing of the coconut tree, extracting of the sap, and finally, tasting of the tuba.

Manangueta dance is a mimetic dance that shows how the people work on tuba or coconut wine. mananguete means coconut wine tapper, the person who extarcts the coconut to produce a cococnut wine
considered as an occupational dance. this dance shows how the people of lanao works on extracting the juices of the tuba to produce coconut wine. the dance by the dancers imitating the movements of the workers.
