The use of props also shows synergy that links the products together, this is shown through Dab holding his guitar in all three products, which links them together as the guitar is featured heavily in in video, digipak and magazine advert
Synergy is a state in which two or more things work together in a fruitful way that produces an effect greater than the sum of their individual effects.
This is one example of synergy
When making the three products we made sure there was synergy throughout.
We did this through the use of the same colour in the magazine advert and digipack, they both use the colour green meaning that when an audience member views this they can automatically link the products together. This is important as it is important to make the artist recognizable, so the fact that Dan, the artist feature's in all three is a good way to do this.
Although there was alot of synergy between the digipak and magazine advert, there was not much synergy between the actual music video and these two products, this is because the main character of the music video, callum, barely features' on these other two products even though he is the star of the video
One other way in which the two products link is the font, the font used in the magazine advert and digipak are the same, which are further synergistic links between the two products as it shows that the two products are linked
Magazine Advert
The magazine advert features synergystic elements that link it to the magazine advert and music video, the colour scheme of the digipak and magazine advert were quite similar, also the fact that they both featured dan holding the guitar
The loacation shown in the video, digipak and magazine advert also link the three products together, as in all three products it shows the artist Dan O'Brien on the stage performing to a crown of people, this links the three products together as they feature this same shot of dan holding the guitar
