IMPORTS AND EXPORTS (IMPORTACIONES Y EXPORTACIONES)

- IMPORTS: they are the transport of goods and services from abroad, which are acquired by a country to distribute them within it.

-EXPORTS: is any good or service sent outside the national territory. Exports are the set of goods and services sold by a country in foreign territory for use.

-

- IMPORTACIONES: son el transporte de bienes y servicios desde el exterior, que son adquiridos por un país para distribuirlos dentro del mismo.

-EXPORTACIONES: es todo bien o servicio enviado fuera del territorio nacional. Las exportaciones son el conjunto de bienes y servicios vendidos por un país en territorio extranjero para su uso.

TARIFF (ARANCEL)

Is a tax that is applied to all goods that are exported and imported.

FREE TRADE AGREEMENT OR AGREEMENT

INCOTERMS (INCOTERMS)

Are terms, of three letters each, that reflect the rules of voluntary acceptance by the parties in an international merchandise sales contract regarding the conditions of delivery of the merchandise.

Son términos, de tres letras cada uno, que reflejan las reglas de aceptación voluntaria por las partes en un contrato de compraventa internacional de mercancías en cuanto a las condiciones de entrega de las mismas.

Refers to the set of associated activities, whose objective is the flow of information and materials worldwide, which begins with the supply of raw material in a certain country, to end with the delivery of the final product to the customer in the country of destination.

Hace referencia al conjunto de actividades asociadas, cuyo objetivo es el flujo de información y materiales a nivel mundial, que se inicia con el abastecimiento de materia prima en determinado país, para finalizar con la entrega del producto final al cliente en el país de destino.

THE LETTER OF CREDIT OR DOCUMENTARY CREDIT (CARTA DE CREDITO)

It is a means of payment issued by a solvent entity, generally a bank. The letter of credit is independent of the contract that gave rise to it.

Es un medio de pago emitido por una entidad solvente, generalmente un banco. La carta de crédito es independiente del contrato que dio su origen

CARGO MANIFIEST (MANIFIESTO DE CARGA)

Es el documento que ampara el transporte de mercancías ante las distintas autoridades, cuando estas se movilizan en vehículos de servicio público, mediante contratación a través de empresas de transporte de carga legalmente constituidas y debidamente habilitadas por el Ministerio de Transporte.

It is the document that protects the transport of goods before the different authorities, when these are mobilized in public service vehicles, through contracting through legally constituted cargo transport companies and duly authorized by the Ministry of Transport.

CUSTOMS OFFENSES (INFRACCIONES ADUANERAS)

Son los actos cometidos por los contribuyentes, por los auxiliares de la administración aduanera (agentes aduanales, agentes transportistas, agentes de carga, almacenadoras) y por los operadores del sistema informático aduanero, entre otros.

Are the acts committed by taxpayers, by customs administration auxiliaries (customs agents, transport agents, cargo agents, warehouses) and by customs computer system operators, among others.

WARRANTY (GARANTIA)

Obligation that is contracted, to the satisfaction of customs, in order to ensure the payment of customs duties and other taxes or the fulfillment of other obligations acquired with it.

Obligación que se contrae, a satisfacción de aduanas, con el objeto de asegurar el pago de derechos de aduana y demás impuestos o el cumplimiento de otras obligaciones adquiridas con ella.
