Rain forests vs Deserts

Introduction

Today I am going to talk about Rainforests and Deserts around the world that is going to be so exciting so lets begin.

Introduction

What are they

AT A GLANCE

  • A Rainforest can be described as a tall, dense jungle. The reason it is called a "rain" forest is because of the high amount of rainfall it gets per year. A desert is a barren area of landscape where little precipitation occurs and, consequently, living conditions are hostile for plant and animal life. The lack of

vegetation exposes the unprotected surface of the ground to the processes of denudation. About one-third of the land surface of the world is arid or semi-arid.
