Welcome, this is going to be about a snake called the, "Spiny Bush Viper," I hope you will learn alot when reading this prezi. :)

Atheris vipers are very venomous. Atheris is another word for venomous. They use this venom to kill prey by curling up and shooting venom.

These snakes can also be venomous to humans so if you want to get them as a pet it would be very dangerous.

These snakes can be eaten by mongoose. Mongoose are imune to these snakes venom so it will not hurt the mongoose. These spiny bush vipers are carnivores. It usually eats rodents, birds, lizards, and frogs.

If mongoose keep eating these snakes, I think they could become extinct. The exact population is unknown.

Sadly, scientist do not know how many spiny bush vipers there are in the wild. :(

These snakes live in Congo, Uganda and Kenya. There are three subspecies of spiny bush viper that differ in color, size and type of habitat where they can be found. Spiny bush vipers prefer rainforests that offer plenty of flowering bushes.

bush vipers can be almost any color! Also bush vipers are rarely on the ground. If you ever see them on the ground then, thats amazing! These snakes are nocturnal.

adults can be 16 to 22 inches long. Female adults can be 20 to 28 inches in length but can also be 32 inches. The baby size is very small. The exact length is unknown.
