Teacher-Provided Documents

What is SBA?

  • SBA stands for School Based Assessment.
  • Each of you will select an issue/topic/theme/event which allows for meaningful research and presentation. You will then agree with your groups on a topic and sub-topics for each group member. An SBA Portfolio will be created on the issue/topic/theme/event.
  • The SBA is expected to be done by each of you working as an individual, and as a member of a small group (4 – 5 students) approved by the teacher.

1

The SBA Portfolio should include the following:

1. PLAN OF INVESTIGATION

2. PARTICIPATION MEASURE

3. QUALITY OF GROUP ACTIVITY

4. REFLECTIONS (3)

5. WRITTEN REPORT

6. ORAL PRESENTATION
