Kate's Migration Q&A

Where did you migrate from and why? Was it hard?

he migrated from England, Essix, Canvey Island. he found it pretty easy and hard to leave because he had to say goodbye to family but he was excited to start a nice life in Adelaide

How old were you when you migrated? And why did you leave?

he was 28. he wanted to leave because he wanted to travel and live with my mum in Adelaide.

What sort of transport did you use to migrate with? What was the trip like?

dad and my mum flew. The trip was fun because he got to travel on the way to Adelaide.

Was the trip difficult? How?

The trip was easy because they flew, they traveled on the way home.

Who did you go with? And what were the cabins like?

he went with my mum. And since it was a plane, we had no cabins.

Where did you come from? Where did you go to?

he came from England, and on the way to Adelaide he traveled to , Africa, Asia , And then to Australia.

What did you do to pass the time on the transport?

He cant remember , but i would of looked at magazines and slept and listened to music. Heres one of the songs

What was it like when you arrived? Was it difficult?

I stayed with My partners mum , then got a part time job.

Was the transport easy?

It was quite easy because there was no rush so we could just relax.

Why did you choose Australia? Why Adelaide over the other popular countries.

he choose Australia because that's where his family is.

What was your life like over in England?

he said It was good. But he wanted to start my life over in Adelaide with my mum.

Would you rather Australia over England? Why?

he would rather Australia because its a great country to live in, but he also sometimes visit England.

Did you make any friends on the transport and in Australia?

Yes, he made lots of friends when him and my mum were traveling and lots when we also arrived.

What did you do when you arrived in Adelaide?

my first part time job in Australia was picking fruit.

What was your first job? Was it easy?

My first part time job in Adelaide was fruit picking, the job wasn't easy because you had to be very fit because it was hot and you were walking a lot.
