I think that all the boys should have went and explored the island instead of just 4. Why i think that is because the odds of anyone getting lost when they are in a large group is lower that if you are just with 4 people.
I think that Ralph was smart when he declared the boys to make a fire to signal other ships. It was smart because they need to get the attention of other people for help.
I can visualize the boys creating the fire with piggy's glasses because the text that described that was very descriptive.
