Who are the Cryogenics?

The Cryogenics is a 4 man FTC group. This group

consists of a coder/Leader, driver/engineer, journalist/Media Organizer and a Handyman.

Dallas - Coder/LEADER

I am a grade 9 STEAM student. I enjoy sports such as baseball, basketball, football, and skiing. I like playing video games, and I play sim leagues on Instagram. I am very interested in science and engineering. I contributed by coding, writing and creating the journal, and building parts of the robot.

Simon - Driver/Engineer

Hello my name is Simon I am a grade 9 STEAM student. I enjoy math and science and creating things. Some of my hobbies are playing hockey, creating models, playing video games, and eating meat. In the future I would like to go to Waterloo university and pursue a career in mechanical or electrical engineering. My role in making this robot is building and the team lead

Gian - Journalist/Media Organizer

I am a grade 9 STEAM student. I enjoy playing video games, watching anime and doing things with my fellow friends. I am interested in computer science and coding. When I get older I may want to make a game or make a novel. I contributed to this team by creating socials such as Instagram, Wix and Youtube. I also built the arm, wiring as well as building some of the parts.

Humphrey - Handyman

I am a Grade 9 student in the STEAM program at Brebeuf College High school. I enjoy Video games and I have a passion for snowboarding. My role was to help my team when they needed it. I helped organize the kits, write a few parts of the journal, redo the wheel, and helped make some parts of the website

Research

Topic

Research Sites and links

We did a monumental amount of research to forward the progress of our robot. We watched videos and read manuals on how to get ideas to build the robot.

We also got some help about the chassis and the basics of building from the Brebeuf professional team.
