  • While Samuel Morse worked at New York University, Alfred Vail was a student. Alfred's father was a judge who funded the invention.
  • It's possible they had a third partner named Leonard Gale.
  • Also though they were patened first in America it was patened in Europe before it even reached publication in America.

The cost to build one line was almost two hunred dollars so the telegram wasn't accessible to everyone but what in life truly is.

I always thought that morse code was a really interesting form of comunnication so I hope you enjoy the SHORT video!!!

According to HISTORY.com...

"...pushing the operator key down to complete the electric circuit of the battery. This action sent the electric signal across a wire to a receiver at the other end."

It took Samuel Morse and Alfred Vail 12 years to perfect the electrical telegraph. It was difficult to find a clear answer why other than finacial problems. Though it's possible it was because the technology need for the circutry had only recently been invented at that time.

Now the telehraph is no longer at use with inventions like the telephone and computer.

It was also the first form of communication that wan't limitted by speed and distance.

And though that it doesn't get used often anymore morse code was for a long time very useful

However like most media there's a lack of personal connection with he telegraph
