Saturn Ring Sample Collection Mission (SRSCM)

By: Bennie Mahonda & Isis Charles

Goal: Collect a Sample of the Saturn Ring materials

Our Goal for SRSCP

Destination Saturn's Rings

What is the best way to get to your destination?

Orbit through the Rings of Saturn.

What is the timeframe of your assembly from design to launch?

Timeframe of Assembly: 6-7 years to assemble

Timeframe of Launch: 10 mintue window

The How To of the Mission

What is the Best way to get to our Destination?

By using the "Figure 8" Also known as the Boomerang method.

How will we test what we are looking for at our destination?

Orbit close to Saturn's Rings open the vent on the spacecraft to collect sample

What will the Spacecraft be made out of?
