In teams, discuss the traits that makes an effective team member.

  • As a class, compile all traits on the board
  • Eliminate any duplicates

As a team, determine determine most important traits for effective team members.

As a class, reach a census:

  • Option 1: All teams must agree on criteria in order to be included
  • Option 2: If two or more teams agree, criteria will be included on peer evaluations

Step 5

Determine the rating scale & corresponding labels/anchors.

  • Ex. Scale of 5
  • 1 is Never
  • 5 is Always

TEAM MEMBER AGREEMENT

Using the agreed upon criteria, have students sign the team member agreement stating they will:

- hold themselves accountable for the criteria

- hold each other accountable for the critera
