And Then There Were None all started with an invitation to Indian Island. Each guest received a personal letter inviting them to visit the island. The letters were very detailed with information that presented as if the host knew each individual well.

1. Anthony Marston

Six foot, well-proportioned body, crisp hair, tanned face, and blue eyed, Anthony Marston. Tony liked his beverages and fast cars. He liked it best in France where there is open roads that were not so busy.

Anthony is accused of mudering John and Lucy Combes on the 14th day of November. He hit and killed John and Lucy while driving recklessly.

The first to die, Anthony chocked on his drink after taking a big gulp. He was poisoned.

2. Mrs. Rogers

With a perpetual look of fright, Mrs. Rogers had queer light eyes that shifted from place to place. She had a flat monotonous voice and was a white ghost-like woman.

Ethel Rogers and her husband Thomas are accused of bringing about the death of Jennifer Brady on the 6th of May, 1929. Jennifer was the Rogers former employer.

Mrs. Rogers the second guest to die on Indian Island. She died of poisoning never to wake again.

3. General Macarthur

General Macarthur, an ex-military man who assumed old military cronies were keeping shy of him.

John Gordon Macarthur is accused of sending his wife's lover, Arthur Richmond, to his death. Macarthur send Arthur to war, which he would never return from.

General Macarthur died by a sudden blow to the head. It was suggested that he was hit on the back of the head with a life preserver but it is unknow what truely hit him on the head.

4. Mr. Rogers

Husband to Ethel Rogers, Mr. and Mrs. Rogers came to Indian Island by invitation to work as butler and maid for the guests that would arrive unknowing of their demise.

Thomas Rogers and his wife Ethel are accused of bringing about the death of Jennifer Brady on the 6th of May, 1929. Jennifer was the Rogers employer.

Mr. Rogers was found with a small chopper in hand. It appeared that he was chopping wood for the fire. There was a deep wound on the back of his head and the bigger chopper close by which was stained brown.

5. Emily Brent

Sixty-five year old Emily Brent was rigid and uniform. She grew up with a militant dad and it reflected in the way she carried herself.

Emily Brent was accused of being responsible for the death of Beatrice Taylor. Beatrice, a servant, was fired by Emily and later killed herself.

A bee sting is what it felt like when Emily died. She knew there was someone in the room but before she could escape a needle with potassium cyanide was injected into her neck.

6. Justice Wargrave

Lawrence John Wargrave is a retired judge. He is known as a "hanging judge" due to the way he can sway the jury. He comes off as a leader with the other guests as he leads them throughout the story.

Wargrave is accused of murding Edward Seton on June 10, 1930.

Justice Wargrave died by a gun shot to the head. Although, it is not known until the end, he did not really die.

7. Dr. Edward George Armstrong

A busy doctor who had little time for vacation, Dr. Armstrong looked forward to his days off on Indian Island. Once a heavy drinker until a major mistake was made that resulted in a patients death.

Caused the death of Louisa Mary Clees on March 14, 1925. Dr. Armstrong performed an operation on Louisa while he was drunk.

After his disappearance a search for Dr. Armstrong resulted in the discovery of his clothing on some rocks by the water. The doctor died by drowning.

8. William Blore

William Blore is an ex-police inspector that appears to never escapes his job. He is looked upon by the other guests for advice and guidance to find clues and ask questions.

Blore gave testimony which put a man in jail where he died. James Stephen Landor died on October 10, 1928.

After returning to the house, William Blore is killed by a bear clock. He is found by Vera and Philip. His head crushed by a large chunk of white marble clock.

9. Philip Lombard

Captain Philip Lombard was a mercenary, military man. He lead an African tribe on an expedition. Philip was the only guest to Indian Island that brought a gun.

Philip Lombard is accused of leading a group of 21 men from an African tibe to their death. He abandoned them while on an expedition.

Vera's paranoia gets the best of her and rightfully so as her and Lombard are the last 2, as they know it, on the island. Thinking Philip Lombard is the killer Vera slyfully aquires the gun from Lombard and shoots him.

10. Vera Claythorne

Vera is invited to Indian Island to be Mrs. Owen's secretary. The invitation mentions she received Vera's name on a recommendation from the Skilled Women's Agency.

Vera is a former nanny of her boyfriends nephew.

Accused of killing her lovers nephew, Cyril Ogilvie Hamilton, Vera was cleared of the murder. She in fact did kill Cyril by letting him drown knowing he could not swim very well. She figured the death of Hugo Hamilton's nephew would lead the way to them getting married.

Death

The last known survivor on the island Vera persuaded by the memories of Cyril's death and the visual tool of the rope noose hanging in her bedroom. Vera's death is a result of hanging.
