Examples of Mood
“Laike, you first,“ She said. Laike crawled under the door, then Hailey, then Harry, then Inferno. When Hailey got out, she realized that it was dawn. She went over to the door, and everyone slipped through. When they started running, they heard Flora scream. “Where are you going?“ she screamed after them. Laike dove behind a tree and into the lake, but the others remained frozen and were swept away by the vines.
Examples of Mood
2 Hailey pushed back at Flora with the wind, the only thing keeping the vines from overtaking the school. Flora had weakened the students, who only had another day to live. They were on the roof, Flora releasing more vines by the minute. Hailey had begun to lose hope. She quickly snuck a peek and saw her friends, returning. Harry had told her that they were leaving, and she had wished them good luck. Now, she realized, she should have kept the luck to herself.
“Quick! Apply the remedy!” She found herself shouting.
“We will!” Inferno returned. Then they went inside. Within minutes, the students were healthy again. Then Hailey realized, Flora may want something else...
