SUN MEAT
This dish, also called jabá, consists of dried meat that has been previously exposed to the sun for at least four days. Since it requires a dry climate, this dish is more common in the semi-arid areas of northeastern Brazil, such as Bahia, Ceará, Maranhão, Paraíba, Piauí, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte, etc.
It is estimated that the origin of this technique of preparation of the meat goes back to the Prehistory, in particular, the first indigenous communities of Brazil. These groups of people used this method of cooking simply because they had not done keeping food. Therefore, the process of salting and exposing the meat to the sun was the most effective.

This dish is rather a type of appetizer very consumed in Brazil, as well as in Portuguese cuisine. The term coxinha literally means in Portuguese muslito, because it is prepared with chicken breast (known in the region as chicken).
Once fried, the chicken breast is wrapped in a dough, so that the breast is breaded. Finally, fry in plenty of oil. The result is similar to the croquettes popular in Spanish tapas. They are usually taken in a hot sauce.
Climate of Brazil
The climate of Brazil is characterized by being mostly warm, since about 90% of the country is in the tropical zone, although it varies between the equatorial in most of the northeast and north (the terrestrial equator crosses the mouth of the Amazon) to the temperate zones south of the Tropic of Capricorn (23 ° 27 'Lat S), which crosses the country to the latitude of the city of São Paulo. Brazil has six climatic regions: equatorial, tropical, semi-arid, tropical highland, temperate, and subtropical.
Temperatures in the cities of Belo Horizonte and Brasilia are moderate (usually between 15 and 30 ° C) due to their elevation of approximately 1000 m. Rio de Janeiro, Recife, and Salvador, on the coast have warm climates, with average temperatures ranging between 23 and 27 ° C, and the heatwave attenuates the constant winds. The cities of São Paulo, Curitiba and Porto Alegre have a subtropical climate similar to that of the southern US. And Europe, and temperatures can drop below 0 ° C in the middle of the night.
Brazil's economy has become one of the world's major economies since 2003, fueled by an increase in the volume and price of international demand for raw materials, mainly minerals, oil, coal, and meat, which was accompanied by entry of new capital and a set of structural reforms. This resulted in greater macroeconomic stability and reduced levels of poverty, with an expansion of social assistance programs for the poor.

Music of Brazil
The music of Brazil is a lively reflection of the cultural diversity of this country, with Indigenous, African and European influences. In addition to samba and bossa nova, famous throughout the world, there are several paradigmatic genres that identify Brazilian music.
Like all expressions of Brazilian culture, Brazilian music is a mixture of many different influences, generating throughout its history a great variety of regional rhythms. Musical traditions of Europe, African rhythms and indigenous styles have hybridized since colonial times to create a unique panorama of sounds in the world.
It is composed of two currents: a written and erudite tradition, of European root, and another unwritten, popular, product of the acculturation between the European, African and indigenous music’s. Genuine fusions between diverse styles and genres have become in the melting pot of Brazilian rhythms that coexist today, with samba and bossa nova as national standards. The set of typical rhythms of Brazil is known as MPB, "Popular Brazilian Music".

The folk dances of Brazil have a relatively recent origin and are the result of the encounter of different cultural traditions, mainly of European, African and native influences. The African heritage, transmitted by the slaves who arrived in colonial times, is undoubtedly the contribution that brings the singularity to the dances typical of Brazil. The rhythmic richness, the striking colors and the expression of the fantastic are the distinctive character of the Brazilian dance.
Samba: samba is the most representative and recognized dance of Brazil, thanks to the popularity of the parade of the Carioca Carnival. As a dance, it has its origins possibly in Angola or Congo and was introduced to Brazil by the slaves. Initially they danced at night, after a day of work on the haciendasThe samba spread first in Maranhão and Bahia, and arrived in Rio de Janeiro at the end of the 19th century. By then it was a choreographic dance with movements marked by the violent and joyful sound of percussion, and with time began to have the stylized rhythm that is known today.
Capoeira is an acrobatic dance with elements of struggle. It is said to have its origins in colonial times, when the Africans gathered to practice movements of struggle disguised with dance steps, not to be discovered by the slaveowners. At the moment it is a very widespread dance in the main cities of Brazil and it is also one of the most well-known dances abroad.
