Frederick Douglass was born February 1818 at Talbot MD and died in February 20 1895 at Washington DC. He is an african american abolitionist, Orator, newspaper publisher and an author who wrote his first autobiography. His first autobiography was “Narrative of the life of Frederick Douglass, an american slave”. He also became the first black US Marshall and also was the most photographed American man during the 19th century. He is also the founder of “The north star” which was an antislavery newspaper publisher.
Fredrick Douglass was born Enslaved at Home Hill Farm in Talbot MD. The date when he was born wasn't recorded but he estimated that he was born in February 1818. His slaveholder was Capt.Aaron Anthony who was the clerk and superintendent of overseers for Colonel Lloyd who is a wealthy landowner in eastern MD. When he was young he was separated from his mother who is Harriet Bailey like the other enslaved children. He spent most of the formative years with his maternal grandmother who was Betsy Bailey who was responsible of raising young enslaved children

In 1838 Frederick escaped slavery to New York and then New Bed ford Massachusetts. During the 1841 antislavery condition, Frederick was asked to recount his experience when he was enslaved. Then he moved his audience that he became an agent for the Massachusetts anti-slavery society. His autobiography in 1845 connected his prominence as an abolitionist.
