Where we came from
In 1874 Battle Creek College was created near the city of Battle Creek, MI
Here the school was renamed Emmanuel Missionary College
The seminary was located next to Potomac University in Maryland
Together with Potomac University, the Seminary moved to Berrien Springs.
Potomac University brought education and other programs, while the Seminary brought pastoral programs. In 1960, Emmanuel Missionary college was combined with Potomac University and the Seminary to form Andrews University, Named after J. N. Andrews, Pioneer and Missionary.
