Pronouns

Pronouns

What is Pronouns?

1. A pronoun can be used to replace a noun.

2. Instead of saying names over and over again, you can use a pronoun (he, she or it)

3. For example, if we didn't use pronouns a sentence might look like this:

Tom went upstairs to the bedroom. Tom opened the door and Tom sat on the bed.

Tom went upstairs to the bedroom. He opened the door and he sat on the bed.
