Alex Deans lives in Windsor, Ontario and goes to school at Academie Ste-Celice Alex lives with his family his dad Joan his mom Robin and with his older sister Nicola also his younger brother Marcus. Alex's birthday is on May 1st 1997

Alex deans invented the iAid for visually impaired people to help direct them around a room or outdoors
Alex deans invented the iAid. The iAid helps direct people around a room or outdoors. The iAid works much like a bat using a sonar it uses four ultrasonic sensors on the belt (iAid) to sensor and map the persons surroundings. A hand held joystick moves in the users hand to help people around a room.

It took Alex a really long time but he did with a lot of materials such as iron, wires, wood and copper

Alex is still living in Windsor, Ontario doing some finger painting, a public speaker and he is still an a inventor and right now Alex is 22 yrs old

Alex Deans created the iAid when he was 12 yrs old in 2008 and he also won the world wide science fair in 2013

When Alex was 12 he saw a visually impaired lady as his inspiration to create the iAid and he even had an interview with CTV Canada.
