- FIND A SAFE SPOT (1) AS FAR TO THE RIGHT AS POSSIBLE AND/OR A SIDE STREET OR PARKING LOT AWAY FROM HIGH VOLUME TRAFFIC
- WHEN VISIBILITY IS LIMITED , ACTIVATE YOUR VEHICLE HAZARD LIGHTS AND/OR DOME LIGHTS
- AN OFFICER MAY APPROACH THE VEHICLE FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE FOR SAFETY REASONS.
ONCE YOUR VEHICLE HAS STOPPED,.... DO THE FOLLOWING
- PLACE THE VEHICLE IN PARK AND TURN OFF YOUR ENGINE.
- KEEP YOUR HANDS AT 10 AND 2
- DO REACH FOR ANYTHING UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO DO SO
- SIT STILL AS POSSIBLE
- STAY IN THE VEHICLE UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO EXIT BY AN OFFICER
- NOTIFY THE OFFICER IF THERE IS A FIREARM IN THE VEHICLE....
