Mr. Lupescu

Bobby is one of the main characters in " Mr. Lupescu" by Anthony Boucher in his strange horror story. Bobby came up with an imaginary friend when his mother left his father for another man. The way the author describes Bobby shows us that he has a very complex way of dealing with his emotions. We can relate to the pain and feelings during his parent’s divorce and why he looked for other ways to express his emotions. He was easily manipulated like every child would be at that age. He seemed to not pay attention to his parents a lot.

Explanation

Kids' words and thoughts are always being ignored because people think they're either silly or worthless. All kids wants to have fun and joke around but there are some that say helpful and motivating things. No one should be made fun of because of an idea they suggest or something they believe in. Especially ideas that are told by kids, because making fun of a kid's thought can make them forever shy to share anything they believe in.
