why oceans?
Well...I love to swim, and I absolutely love going to the beach. But what I love most of all are Bottle nosed dolphins. I want to help Bottle nosed dolphins, but that wouldn't be right of me. I should help all of the ocean wildlife from dying from pollution. This madness has to stop otherwise it'll start to effect us even more.
Pollution is a combo of very harmful substance or things released into the environment that has a harmful or even poisonous effect on everyone. Oceans, land, humans, and other animals.
Ocean pollution is astonishing. Every year, billions of pounds of trash and other pollutants enter the ocean. Some trash sinks, some is flowing with the waves and tides, some is washed up on shore, and some is eaten by animals mistaken for food.

on shores
To be honest...nothing about pollution is good. All that pollution does is kill animals. But what is good, is that we can stop this. We are able to control this, but we don't. We are able to do something, but we don't. We should.
In high school or as early as possible I am going to start a campaign to go around the country and give presentation about pollution, and then around the world when we get people to join from different states.
We should stop this but we don't. Honestly...what can I do at this age? I might not be able to do a lot, but I could try. All the plastic and pollution kills many animals everyday. No one might care about the animals but without the animals that do their job everyday to keep the earth healthy, we wouldn't be healthy either. So everyone should step up for the oceans.
Think about it
In fact, most of Earth's life is in the oceans/water. When Earth's most populated places are slowly being torn to pieces and are dying we are rising on top as the most populated. Is that a good thing? No. It is not. Earth has always had its most animals in the water, so it is not good for us to becoming on top.
over 1 million sea birds and 100,000 sea mammals are killed each year
14 billion pounds of garbage is dumped into the oceans every year.
80% of pollution to the marine environment comes from land.
the majority of life is aquatic.
less that 5% of the worlds oceans have been explored
there are more historic artifacts under the sea than there are in all of the world's museums
