Hero- Anna

The archetypal hero of a story is a character who typically saves his world or town from destruction. In this movie, Anna saves Elsa from being consumed by her icy magic.

Mentor- Kriss-Toff

The mentor will always provide that motivation that a character will always need. They will guide, train you, and also have some insights. Kriss-Toff is the mentor because he knows Anna and guides her throughout the journey to help them find Elsa.

The two Archetype Settings:

The two main settings of the movie called "Frozen", would be "The Forest" and "The sea". Both of these settings include a world that has some good and bad, with some mysterious beasts and or treasures.

Trickster- Olaf

The trickster loves to be destructive and annoying. The story typically revolves around the trickster and its antics. They always make you smile and give out a good laugh. In the movie Olaf acts goofy and funny which helps Anna find Elsa.

Summary:

When the kingdom is caged in by winter, Anna works with Kris-toff to find the snow-queen herself, Elsa. Throughout their adventure they stumble upon some mysterious things which include the funny snowman named "Olaf". They are now a full group and are off to break Elsa's icy cold spell!

Call to Adventure:

The call to adventure happens when Elsa decides to leave home and experiment with her icy magic. This then makes Anna follow her in a adventure to find Elsa and stop her from using her powers.

Challenges and Revelation:

Hero's Journey #2 and #3

The challenge throughout this movie is Anna trying to find Elsa before her icy powers consumes her. The Revelation is that Elsa finally becomes Frozen and is partially consumed by her icy magic. Anna then finds her but realizes that her sister is already turning bad and not wanting Anna anymore.

Atonement and Return:

The atonement of this movie is Elsa going home to the castle where she grew up and apologizing for all the chaos that she had brought. Her Return is making a beautiful ice lake at the village and then ice skating and enjoying the lake.
