17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Tim 3:16

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy,

and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

John 13:35

35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Gal 5:13

13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.

31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

20 Don’t tear apart the work of God over what you eat. Remember, all foods are acceptable, but it is wrong to eat something if it makes another person stumble.

23 But if you have doubts about whether or not you should eat something, you are sinning if you go ahead and do it.

22 You may believe there’s nothing wrong with what you are doing, but keep it between yourself and God.

Blessed are those who don’t feel guilty for doing something they have decided is right.

For you are not following your convictions. If you do anything you believe is not right, you are sinning.

21 It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything else if it might cause another believer to stumble.

Phil 2:3-4

3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

1 Cor 10:23

23 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.

1. Love over knowledge (1-3)

2. God over gods (4-6)

3. Edification over liberty (7-11)

4. Brother over self (12-13)
