They have 20,000 oiled penguins, 12,500 volunteers that are comepletly inexperienced. And only a few people that are actually experts and now what they are doing." Without swift help, the seabirds would have no chance for survival".

A new crisis began to unfold the oil spill was headid towards Dassen island which was home too some very endangerd birds. So they would drive down there pick the penguins up set them free nere another ocean and hope by the time they swim back the oil would be cleaned up.

There were hundreds of thousands of people willing to donate food to the penguins, but the penguins favorite were the sardines/the fish and they had thousands of pounds of the fish for the penguins. " By the way, fishing is the primary occupation among residents. When they donate the contents of their freezers, they are emptying their own larders (pantries) and wallets"

There were hundreds of thousands of people showing up to the door each day willing to volunteer so all together they saved over of
the penguins by turning a old abandoned warehouse into a penguin rescue center. " Volunteers were showing up by the thousands"

The penguins were in shock most of the time they were at the warehouse, they had to be force fed, force cleaned which by the way took almost an hour, it also took two people, with 1 person cleaning the penguin and the other one holding it down. "But the volunteers managed to clean all of the penguins in a month".

They had more than enough food. To help save the penguins in the process. And thousands of pounds of fish for the penguins every day.
