- Marshall Bruce Mathers III , born October 17th 1972.
- Lived most of his life in a bad neighborhood Detroit , Michigan.
- His father left him when he was 3 months old. His mother was an alcoholic and a drug addict.
- He got bullied at school and once went ino a coma for 10 days
- He failed 9th grade 3 times then dropped out of school.
- His best friend was killed in a drive by.
- He debut was in 1996.
- First respected white rapper and best hip-hop artist of all time.
- He has won 15 VMAs , 17AMAs , 15 Grammys and 1 Oscar.
- His net worth is 210M $.
STORY
- Before becoming famous and making history, Eminem had a rough time making it to the top .
- The only way he had to break out was rap battles.
- But he got of hate because he was white.
- He got evicted from his house the day before he had to fly to LA to compete in the rap Olympics which he lost .
- But Dr.Dre saw him and signed him into Interscope Records.
- He got married to Kim young and had his daughter Hailee .
- He had to wash dishes in a restaurant to provide food for his daughter .
- He got a 2 years probation for assault and concealed weapon.
- He had to move in with his mother in an RV .
- He was tried to commit suicide .
- He got into drugs and went into rehab but checked himself out before he had fully recovered .
- Because of his actions he relapsed and began taking 30 to 40 pills a day because of his insomnia.
- He had a seizure on day because of the drugs he took and once overdosed and almost died .
- But he wanted to succeed and achieve something in his life so he got back into rehab and fully recovered from his addiction.
WHY I CHOSE HIM
- I chose Eminem because he’s a true example of the American Dream.
- Eminem inspires people to be who they are to be confident an not care about what others say .
- He’s a fighter and never gave up even when he faced hard obstacles in his life .
- He inspires people to work hard and overcome their hardships and achieve greatness.
- He once said :” my music it should be motivation to know that anything is possible as long as you keep working at it and don't back down.
