The case
This morning, at 05:26, the College’s systems were hacked, and data security was breached. Numerous files were stolen containing sensitive information, records of staff and student names; addresses; emails and even information on pay and college fees.
The police investigating the crime, from the cyber-crimes unit have been working on obtaining the location of the hacker or hackers. They have already obtained a partial IP Address (Internet Protocol Address).
The remainder of the IP address has been coded into the Library Moodle page.

This will give the cyber-crimes unit the information they need to identify the hacker or hackers.
