In the beginning, Donovan knocks the globe off the statue of Atlas and it breaks the gym. The superintendent, Dr.Schultz, finds out but forgets his name. One day Donovan gets invited to go to the gifted school. No one knew why because Donovan was just a normal kid. There was nothing gifted about him. Donavan goes and meets alot of friends and joins the robotics team.

People start to figure out Donovan is not gifted. Then Donovan finds out that the kids haven't taken human growth and developemont and Mr. Osborne can't teach it. To keep them from failing, Dononvan begs his pregnant sister to come teach the class. The school makes Donovan retake the school entrance test because they don't think he is gifted. Somoene hacks the computer and takes the test for him.

Dr. Schultz found Donovan when visiting the gifted school and expelled him from the gifted school for breaking the gym. Donovan returns to Hardcastle Middle School but hates it and the gifted school kids also missed him alot. Then came the robotics meet and Donovan skipped class to go watch his old classmates. Donovan was the driver but since he left Abigail became the new driver. They barely made the second event. Durin the second event, another school hit their robot. Donovan got really mad and took control and crushed the other robot disqualifying both teams. Then they rushed to the the hospital as Donovan's new niece was about to be born.

I'd give this book an 8/10. It was a great book but I didn't love it as much as other books I've read.
