Moddie Taylor was a very important person to chemistry.He was an associate chemist on the Manhattan Project. His job was to focus on analyzing the rare earth metals.This was to create an atomic bomb to attempt to end the "deadliest war in world history". This is basically saying that his chemical contribution was to the entire nations atomic energy. Since he did a great job in his research he won the Certificate of Merit. Later on from 1969-1976 he majored in chemistry.This was in Lincoln University.

This phenomenon in chemistry history was mostly known for his research on the rare earth metals in the Manhattan Project.One of his obvious interests was chemistry! Funny right? Moddie was also known for publishing a book called the "First principles of Chemistry.This resulted in him getting chosen as one of the best 6 chemistry professors in the nation. As said before he received an Certificate of Merit for his research in the Manhattan Project.

Background, interests, and goals

Moddies research from the Manhattan Project influenced him into writing and publishing a book. This book is used in colleges around the nation. His research also influenced the future by ending the deadliest war .
