Brazil.

From large cities and lush jungles, from mighty rivers and an Atlantic coast famous for its magnificent beaches, Brazil is a joyful and ardent country where the most traditional tourism joins the fun, which allows you to dismantle from its Sun and its People, from Its rhythm and its flavor.

Language and currency.

The official language is Portuguese although according to the areas you can find where Italian or German is spoken and the official Brazilian currency is the real equivalent, today, to 0.436 euros.

Geography.

With an area estimated at more than 8.5 million km², is the fifth largest country in the world in total area. Sharing land borders with Uruguay to the south; Argentina and Paraguay to the southwest; Bolivia and Peru to the west; Colombia to the northwest and Venezuela, Suriname, Guyana and French Guiana to the north.

Climate.

The climate of Brazil has a wide variety of climatic conditions in a large region with a varied topography, although it can be considered that most of the country has a tropical climate. According to the Köppen system, Brazil has six main climatic subtypes: Equatorial, tropical, semi-arid, tropical altitude, temperate and subtropical.

Flora, fauna and environment.

The great territorial extension of Brazil includes different ecosystems, such as the Amazon, recognized for housing the greatest biological diversity in the world, the Atlantic Forest and the Cerrado, which also sustain a great biodiversity, by which Brazil is classified as A megadiverse country.

Culture.

The culture of Brazil is the result of the mixture of the traditions and customs of the three groups that shaped the current national identity: Native Amerindians, Portuguese colonizers and African and European immigrants. The basis of the Brazilian culture is derived from the Portuguese culture, because of its strong ties with the Portuguese colonial Empire.

Tourism.

Because of its diversity, tourism is divided between its large cities, its coastline and its rainforests: Among the cities, especially Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, the most important. The beaches most famous in the world: Copacabana, Ipanema and Angra dos Reis and the famous statue of the Corcovado Christ, magnificent places.

Gastronomy.

The Brazilian cuisine varies greatly depending on each region, so that reflects the mix of native and immigrant populations. This has defined a national cuisine marked by the preservation of these regional differences. Among the best examples are feijoada, considered the national dish; vatapá, moqueca, polenta and acarajé. National drinks are coffee and cachaza, a distilled beverage originally from Brazil.

Sports.

The football is the sport most popular in Brazil. The football team has won five times the World Cup of FIFA; It also has eight victories in the Copa América. The volleyball , the football , the basketball , the skate, the surf, the motorsport and martial arts such as capoeira, also enjoy great popularity in the country.
