Healing Wounds

Wounded to Divine Masculine & Feminine Traits

Intro

We will be looking into the binary concepts of masculine and feminine as energies and not necessarily assigning it to genders.

You will probably be able to relate to having both masculine and feminine energies.

We will be discussing these ideas through a post colonial patriarchal lens.

Intro

The Duality (Balance)

Balance

Regardless of our gender, we are all made of masculine and feminine energies. This is seen in nature as well. Masculine and feminine are suppose to operate together to create duality that connect and form the world.

Due to ideas of the patriarchy and wounded (toxic) masculine the feminine has been disrespected, repressed, dishonored and dominated. The world has gotten out of the natural balance leading to problems that we see everyday.

Looking at the energies within us and trying to balance them by reintegrating and embodying more of the feminine energy is the key to balance being restored and for healthier interpersonal relationships.

Both masculine and feminine energies have an unhealthy, wounded aspect and a healthy, divine aspect. The wounded part comes from ego, a place of fear and darkness and always leads to pain.

When we shine light on these aspects of ourselves, when we become aware of what is unhealthy/wounded stemming from society we can heal and transform this into healthy and divine energy.

When we become aware of our unhealthy patterns, of our wounded self, we can stop recreating the same patterns, stop projecting them out onto others and heal our relationships.
