Evaluation
My fellow FCCLA members and leadership roles.
A detailed portfolio containing planned events and projects of our chapter.
Weekly events/ projects and daily adding to my portfolio.
Mostly working on this portfolio at home or school.
I will be able to complete this portfolio with the cooperation of our helpful FCCLA sponsor Mrs. Lauren Norton and my club members.
Many pictures, accurate documentation, FCCLA research, knowledge and research on presentation skills, as well as participation and observation of our projects.
I planned on getting feedback from some of my peers for constructive criticism and suggestions.
Following my plan and getting involved in events.
Making touch ups to accomodate feedback.
Heading to
Highschool Night
FCCLA
Week
Each of these campaigns resulted in new membership and promotion of career pathways.
Homecoming Parade
$5 Mid-semester Membership
Heading to Highschool night is a night for upcoming Freshman as well as current Highschool students to see all the opportunities they have that year. This event got many students registered for career pathway classes.
The parade gave us a chance to represent our club to the middle schoolers at NDMS. This advertised to future members.
During FCCLA week we set themes and games on our social media to have a wonderful FCCLA spirit week!
This gained much support from the community! It also had us gain 5 members.
This Recruitment was to encourage any transfer students or unaware students to join FCCLA because it was still a chance for them. This event gained us 8 members!

Accomplishments
of Our Chapter
- It is our 1st year.
- We have gained 1/3 of the members we started with this year.
- Participated in mutiple service projects.
- We cooperated with other clubs and parts of our community.
To recognize these accomplishments and reach out to our community we use our social media, posters, as well as including them in our morning announcments.

interested to attend a meeting
- We talk about each persons strengths, weaknesses, & interests.
- We discuss events related to either improve or embrace one of those.
- We set a schedule of expectations and check points for each event.
Each of these events gave our participating members a level of responsibility and leadership. While they were able to ask questions they participated on their own. These events highlight the ownership and willingness we want from our members.
- FCCLA & FFA Food drive
- Gift bags for the SECU Family House
- Doorhangers for the SECU Family House
This service project gave us the opportunity to collabborate with our local FFA chapter and provide food to our community. We did this service project with Families First in mind.
These gift bags went to our local SECU Family House. These families were beyond grateful and appreciated our efforts.
These doorhangers brightened the faces of these families which in turn brightened our days.
Each of these events aligned with the creativity and organization of FCS programs.
For this fundraiser each student was given a calendar and was responsible for finding a sponsor for each day. (ex. if you found a sponsor for day 1 they would donate $1)
This fundraiser gave us a creative opportunity to ¨snow¨ teachers rooms. Students would pay $5 to get a suggested teacher´s room decorated. We advertised through social media and morning announcements.
Profit: $200
Costs: $40 (inflatables)
We sold cookies at lunch to hand out at valentines. It encouraged kindness in our community and fundraised for us. This fundraiser allowed us to team up with Subway.
Profit: ~ $300
Cost: $125 (packaging, table set up)
Sewing
Lessons
We reached out to our community through instagram posts and morning announcments at school.
Cookie Taste Testing
Experimenting science with Children
Our Chapter has reahed out to NDMS to teach kids 11-15 the basic skills for sewing. These lessons are mostly one on one to provide direct attention. We also post guides on our website for our community.
¨My grandma was going to teach me but she can´t anymore. She´s happy I´m learning anyway.¨
- Malia (13)
This allowed us to reach out to kids in our school for unbiased taste testing to get accurate results and show them how things run in the kitchen.
¨I didn´t know we had an FCCLA club here. The cookies were great and this was a lot more informational than the other club presentations I´ve seen.¨
-Kaitlyn (17)
This project allowed us to reach out to the children in our community and practice teaching techniques with kids.
¨I like that my kids are learning and having fun at the same time. And I also love that I´m not the one running the show¨
-Michelle (32)
