Workers Consulta-tion

Workers Consultation

Workers are rarely consulted on matters such as hazard identification, hazard assessment and development of risk controls.

"Consultation with employees"

Victoria’s OHS Act 2004

Information Dissemination

There is also a problem with dissemination of WHS information, where people, such as work experience students, do not have access to all the safety notices placed on the intranet.

Issue #3

Issue #3

3. Mary Smiths tripped over a box of documents and bandaged her ankle.

-Give easy access to all safety notices, policies and procedures to all employees. Make sure that every single employee has access to these documents by asking each employee to sign “received” when the policies and procedures are handed to them. We should add this implementation to our policies and procedures.

- Make a WHS committee meeting and vote for a HSR, ASAP!
