The Beginning

In the beginning of the story Montag thinks like everyone else, no books are allowed and things are normal. Example "It's fine work. Monday burn Millay, Wednesday Whitman, Friday Faulkner, burn "em to ashes, then burn the ashes."(Bradbury 6). When he is first talking to Clarisse, he is sure that he is doing the right thing.

In the middle of the book, Montag starts the realize that maybe burning books is not a good idea. Example "The parlor was dead and Mildred kept peering in at it with a blank expression as Montag paced the floor and came back and squatted down and read a page as many as ten times, aloud"(Bradbury 67). Montag is reading book now because he started in get interested in them after talking to Clarisse.

The End

The end

During the end of the book Montag is fully into books and wants to rad them. Example "Montag took the four remaining books and hopped, jolted, hopped his way down the alley and suddenly fell as if his head has been cut off and only his body lay there."(Bradbury 116). Montag has been found with books and he left because he wanted to kept said books.

Final

Throughout the story Guy Montag has had a great story evolution. In the beginning he did not like books, in the middle he was warming up to the idea, in the end he ran away because he loved books. This book did a good job at making him a good character.
