First impressions are seldom more important than on a job interview. A sharp appearance shows that you are poised, polished and prepared. Your prospective employer should see that you take the interview seriously and that you have taken care to look your best.

DON'T:

-Wear ill-fitting clothes or uncomfortable shoes

-Bite your nails during the interview

-Wear your hair wet

-Use new facial products before the interview

-Use heavy perfumes/colognes

DO:

-Wear clothing/shoes that are cleaned and shined

-Trim/clean your nails

-Comb/brush your hair

-Wash/exfoliate your face

-Brush/floss your teeth

-Shower and use deodorant

Color

Black - A very commanding color that conveys a lot of power, authority, and even drama. Using black as an accent color can give you a sense of authority without being overwhelming.

White - Conveys truth and simplicity and adds a bit of brightness without being too overwhelming.

Gray - Evokes sophistication and neutrality.

Brown - A neutral color that evokes feelings of calm.

Red - A bright, powerful color that conveys energy and passion. A pop of red can convey just the right amount of passion.

Blue - Conveys feelings of calm, trust, and confidence.
