Media is a channel of communication. I`ts the vihicle that carries a message from one to another or one group of people to another.

-technology changed our lives in many ways

-Both are mass media

=> reach massive audiences

Differences:

- The Center of Attention

=>social media: connect known/unknown people

=>traditional media: keeping aware of important information

- The way of Communication

=>traditional media: one-way communication

- Reliabilitiy of Information

=>traditional media: multiple layers of fact- checking =trustfull

=>modern media: information published by users

=not trustfull

The relationship between old and new

- we live in a modern world

=> traditional media is not that important anymore

- digital media is getting bigger and new plattfoms will be developed in the future

- people that need trustfull information will always return to traditional media

- traditional media is often seen better

than modern medua => living in a bubble/ social media competition / fake news
