WELCOME!

WELCOME!

Dear Parents,

Welcome and congratulations! Your child is now at the age where he/she has the opportunity to take music lessons on a band or orchestra instrument! I am very excited to continue our instrumental music program and welcome the opportunity to share my passion for music with your children.

lessons

lessons

  • The Instrumental Music program at both Knight and Kingston Elementary School offers small, 30 minute, group lessons on band and orchestra instruments.
  • These lessons occur once a week and are scheduled during I/E to minimize disruption in other classroom subjects. lessons typically function on a Day 1- Day 5 schedule.
  • Students will have their lesson at the same time on specific school days each week. For example, if your child's lesson is scheduled on Day 1 from 9:10-9:40, it will remain that way throughout the school year.
  • Ensemble rehearsals will be scheduled on a weekly basis as well. This day may differ from your child’s lesson day.
