Steps of the Electoral process

Step 1

Step 1: Self Announcement

This step a person who like to run for presidency annonces that he or she will be.

Step 2

Step 2: Caucus

A Group of like minded people get together and decide which of the canidates that they will support

Step 3: Convention

As the caucus began to fail convention took there place. a convention is a debate between two partys.

Step 4

Step 4: Direct Primary

Is an intra-party election. It is held within a party to pick that party’s candidates for the general election.

Step 5: Result of candidate selection

The behind-the-scenes process where a candidate is selected between the two parties.

Step 6: General election

When everybody goes and votes for the candidate of there choosing

Step 7: Winner

This is when the candidate with the most votes is labed the winner of the election and becomes president

Step 8: Meeting of the Electoral College

When the partys come together and talk about the votes

Step 9: Inauguration of President and vice president

When the president and the vice president take a oath to do the required duties and follow the will of the people
