"Kick Me!"

... But not really.

Introduction to the Vocabulary

As you walked into the classroom today, I taped either a word OR a definition onto the back of your shirt.

Activity

Instructions

1.

2.

After I finish explaining the instructions and passing out the activity sheet, I will give you 15 minutes to circulate the room.

By looking at the signs taped onto the backs of your classmates, you must:

  • Find (and list) all 15 vocabulary words
  • Find (and list) all 15 definitions

*NOTE: That the name of this activity does NOT in any way permit your to kick and/or harm another student. Anyone who ignore this basic understanding of human decency will immediately be sent to the office. No warnings.*

Your goal should be to match all of the definitions to the correct word.

EMPHASIZE: This is our first time being introduced to most of these words, so simply do your best! You may work with ONE partner, but groups larger than 2 will be broken up.

When the timer sounds, you must return to your seats. We will then go over the correct answers/definitions of each word.

Did you find and correctly match all of the vocabulary words?
